On the occasion of the Domenica di Carta 2024, Sunday 13 October, the exhibition Vie di seta pesaresi: filande a Pesaro fra XIX e XX secolo will be open in the afternoon and evening from 16:30 to 22:00.
The exhibition, which uses documents from the State Archives, is curated by Cristina Ravara Montebelli and Sara Cambrini, with iconographic documentation from the Gabriele Stroppa Nobili Archives.
The exhibition is not only documentary because it benefits from the collaboration of the Liceo Artistico Mengaroni of Pesaro and numerous collectors who have lent splendid artefacts relating to the production of silk in Pesaro and in Italy.
On Sunday 13 October, the curators Cristina Ravara Montebelli and Sara Cambrini will lead two guided tours, at 17:30 and 19:00.
Starting at 5 pm, agronomist Luca Corelli, during guided tours, will illustrate the characteristics and curiosities of the silkworm to those present, showing the specimens he has raised.
No reservation is required.
