In addition to the costs for photoreproduction in digital format of documents preserved by the State Archives, the release of authentic and compliant copies pursuant to art. 1, paragraph 1 of the Presidential Decree 26/10/1972, n. 642, containing the Stamp Duty Regulations, requires the payment of the relevant stamp duty.
The tax is set at €16.00 for issuing the certificate of conformity and €16.00 for each protocol sheet, corresponding to n. 4 digital images in A4 format for n. 4 sides of a foolscap sheet.
The application, sent to as-pu@cultura.gov.it, will be registered by this Office, then sent back in pdf format with the estimate to the applicant, so that the relevant digital stamp can be applied.
Payment can be made in two ways:
- with a digital tax stamp, through the "Acquista @e.bollo" menu function, reachable at the web address https://pagonline.cultura.gov.it/pagamenti-pagopa/operazioni/home.do
- with payment via form F24, indicating the tax code 1552.
It is specified that the "Acquista @e.bollo" function provides for the issuing of only one stamp at a time; it will therefore be necessary to make as many markings as there are revenue stamps needed.
Following receipt of the payment document, it will be possible to obtain, together with the release of the files, a certificate of conformity of the image copy in digital format of the original analogue document, according to the provisions of the art. 23-ter, paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree 7 March 2005, n. 82, containing the Digital Administration Code, and the Guidelines of 18 September 2020 of the Agency for Digital Italy.
